een goede eendenbak kan met de juiste olie zeker geschikt zijn. een bmw blok maakt meer toeren ...

Hello Ramon
Here is some information for you.
We can supply almost anything you need if you want to do the conversion.
The black BMW 2cv uses 150% uprated springs and Gas adjustable shock absorbers, other than that the car is standard 2cv suspension. The gearbox is a long ratio 2cv gearbox with standard disc brakes and pads. This is more than enough for a road car and I have done track work with this set up.
Tyres are 175x65x15 on GS rims for the road and 165x50x15 for the track.
Below are some links to more pictures and parts you might require.

You can get coolers from Demon Tweeks and elsewhere.

here is some more information on what is required to build a car.
OK, the BMW kit I supply includes:-
Modified flywheel
New flywheel bolts
Adaptor plate
Crankshaft adaptor
Inlet manifold adaptors
Fixing hardware
Modified dowels
Engine mounts
This is £600 plus carriage and an exchange flywheel.
To complete the conversion you will need:-
New Valeo clutch - standard 2cv
Small Valeo starter motor - standard 2cv
Fuel swirl pot
Low pressure fuel pump
High pressure fuel pump
New fuel pipe from rear of vehicle – 8mm
Engine frame made to suit the gearbox/engine/chassis/oil cooler you are using
Large oil cooler (or at least 2 standard BMW ones), the more the better.
BMW bike engine, wiring loom, exhaust front pipes, ECU, throttle bodies. (everything to make the bike run)
Exhaust system to suit
Air filter
Options
GSA/GS gearbox (with Visa/LN belhousing)
Long ratio hybrid 2cv gearbox
Limited slip differential for 2cv gearboxes
Engines
Any ‘oil head’ 8v BMW engine from 850cc (70bhp) to 1200cc (125bhp)
The conversion works very well with no overheating. Standard gearbox has proved very reliable as long as a high quality gearbox oil is used (we use Redline fully synthetic light weight shockproof oil). A GSA gearbox can be used although I think it spoils the conversion and they have not been any more reliable. It is also more difficult to fit and makes the driveshaft angle tight. Spend the money on a hybrid 2cv gearbox.
