i was given a 1986 2cv ,in very bad condition,so bad it couldnt be restored,so i took the engine and gearbox out,and i am now building a trike.
so do any of you know if it is possible to get alloy wheels to fit the 2cv,as i would like to have 2 for the trike.

Not for a reasonable price, best option is too use spacers so you can use regular rims.

had thought of that,i might cut the outer drive and sleeve it to suit a 4 stud hub.but was hoping to keep the final drive original.

please show us pictures of your build, would be nice to see

here are some pictures,i haven't got very far,as it;s a slow job done mainly on sundays.but i think it's going well to date.

I'm only wondering wether using no suspension in the back was a good idea..?

i always had it in mind to build a hardtail chopper,but i think a hardtail trike ,might be a better option,if it doesn't work ,it will be easy enough to convert it to springs.
but thats still a while away

In England, at 2CV City Halifax, i have seen these alloys.
Specially for 2CV, Le Patron.
